If kitten is being shipped, FULL payment should be mailed to the above address 2 weeks prior to the kitten leaving our home.
Under no circumstances will this kitten be sold, leased or given away to any pet shop, research laboratory or shelter.
Initial deposit will hold the kitten. The depsoit is non-refundable but can be transferred to another kitten.
All pet kittens will be sold under a spay/neuter contract. The kitten must be altered by the 6 month birthday. If the breeder does not receive proof of spay or neuter by this date______, the purchaser is required to return the kitten to the breeder or pay an additional $1000 for breeding rights.
This kitten will always be kept indoors.
Breeder agrees to provide the purchaser with TICA registration papers for this kitten by the kittens 6 month birthday. A 3 generation pedigree of Sire and Dam will be provided with SHOW/BREEDER kittens.
Breeder will provide purchaser with a completed health record of all vaccinations and wormings. The kitten will receive two combo vaccines for Rhinotracheitis, Panoleukemia and Calicivirus.
Purchaser must not inoculate for FIP(Feline Infectious Peritonitis). If said kitten receives the FIP vaccine and contracts the disease, breeder will not guarantee the kitten. Breeder will not guarantee against FIP for longer than 6 months from date of purchase. Breeder will not be responsible for any adverse reactions to vaccines.
Raynehart certifies that kitten is negative for Feline Leukemia and FIP at the time of leaving our cattery.
New kittens may show signs of stress including but not limited to sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, diarrhea and/or constipation.
The kitten will not be declawed for any reason. The declawing of this kitten will cause the health/genetic gaurantee to be null and void.
Any kitten sold for breeding will be guaranteed to produce kittens. Some females take up to 3 years although the norm is between 1-2 years of age. Some males are ready to breed at 6 months while others may take up to 2.5 years before they are ready. This cannot be determined in advance and no kitten will be replaced and called "sterile" or "barren" before 3 years of age.
In the event that a kitten is found sterile or barren, the kitten MUST be returned to the breeder at the purchaser's expense, and a new kitten of equal type and value will be replaced to the purchaser within a reasonable time frame. Any shipping expenses for sending the replacement kitten shall be the responsibility of the breeder.
Any legal fees incurred by failing to comply to the above conditions will be the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
LIMITED GUARANEE: The kitten must be examined by a licensed vet, for a health check within 7 days of kittens release. Purchaser is responsible for the vet bill. If it is found that there is a serious/life threatening health question, purchaser has 48 hours after the vet exam to ask for a replacement kitten. This request must accompany a letter from your veterinarian stating why the kittens health is in question.
GENETIC GUARANTEE: The kitten has a two year guarantee against lethal genetic or congenital defects from the date of this contract. If the kitten should die or be destroyed due to a genetic defect during this period, breeder agrees to replace kitten with the next available kitten of equal type and value, upon being provided with an autopsy report from a licensed impartial veterinarian. Breeder has the option of choosing veterinarian or allowing purchaser to chose veterinarian.
HCM(Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) Guarantee: HCM is the most common heart disease in cats. This kitten has a 5 year guarantee against HCM. If this kitten should be diagnosed with HCM by the age of five, Raynehart will replace the kitten with another kitten of equal type and value, upon being provided with proof that the kitten has HCM.
